Here, you’re close to everything while still experiencing the authentic spirit of Chamonix. Shuttles and public transport: the Place du Mont-Blanc stop and the main bus station provide easy access to all the ski areas – Brévent, Flégère, Grands Montets, Le Tour, Les Houches – as well as Aiguille du Midi and Montenvers. Cross-country skiing: access the Nordic loops of Bois du Bouchet and over 50 km of valley trails directly from the village. Hiking: Grand Balcon Nord/Sud, Plan de l’Aiguille-Montenvers, and Lac Blanc via Flégère are classic routes starting from the center or just a few minutes away by ski lift.
